Today we take a step to recognize one of the more important aspects of a complete computer system: the monitor. Yes your parents may have one of those huge old heavy conventional CRTs, but what do you have? To be on top of technology you have to make sure you do not leave one thing out. Each monitor has its expertise's... CRTs are seen and used more widely for gaming, while LCDs lead up on graphics design and general work. There is though one huge difference many have to grasp; the crispness, sharpness and brightness of an LCD outruns most CRTs. LCDs are designed to save space and greet the user with a sense of pride, because of their investment. Our victim is that of a beautiful Samsung LCD. Now I must say, you get what you pay for. If you want quality, you have to pay for it. You can not expect a Ford Taurus would have the same substantial as a Porsche. You can of course expect that that Ford would have the same basic features of the Porsche as in a steering wheel, gas pedal and brakes though. CRT monitors are becoming more over an annoying paperweight leaving LCDs on the road to accomplishment. Next Page: Specifications |
