In conclusion, the MX700 is an amazing mouse. It fixes nearly every problem that has plagued other wireless mice, optical and non-optical alike. Its new optical sensor combined with the new RF technology makes the mouse better than many corded mice. Its battery charger means that you won’t have to keep buying new batteries, and it also serves as a place to put the mouse when you are not using it so it does not drain the batteries. Its 8 customizable buttons enable you to have maximum of control of your computer. The price is very steep, however (MSRP $80). You will have to decide whether the features of this mouse are worth that price to you. If you do not use many games or other mouse-intensive software, you may be fine with another cordless optical mouse that does not have this technology. If you are a gamer and would like a wireless mouse, this is the only mouse I would recommend.
