How could this be a gaming computer without a capable video card to support the games that are out today? The GeForce 2 MX is the first card that comes to my mind when speaking of value and gaming. It is a lesser hybrid from its siblings being the GTS, Pro and Ultra models but that is strength for this card. This card will belt out the frames at very comfortable speeds and handle most applications you can throw at it. With nVidia releasing drivers almost every other month you can rest assured this card will not be left behind any time soon. This card even comes with TV out!
The modem, the way we connect to the world via the internet. With all of the hype about high speed internet connections you may be wondering why I included this. Well I have a cable modem myself and couldn’t think of going back to a modem. However there are those times when my connection goes down for a short period of time and I still want to browse the internet, also for all of my fax needs this works wonders. The big plus here is it is a hardware modem. Meaning it will not take up many of your precious resources when being used. Which will make it a little easier if this going to be used as your main connection while gaming and browsing
You will need this network card for those LAN parties you go to. It also can be used to connect to your home LAN or a cable / DSL modem for high speed broadband internet. Next Page:
