Beginner's Gaming PC under $1000

A friend of mine recently asked me to build him a computer that he could use for gaming and also create CD’s with. He has never owned a PC so he was totally clueless on what to do but had decided that the store bought options were too high.  He really wanted something for less than $1000 that he could upgrade at a later date if necessary.

So we begin with the quest of building a PC for less than a grand while also having some guts to it. Now I will share with you the components I found to assemble this PC that fit all the requirements above. While it is not an OC dream machine or the top of the line in today’s GHz world it is very capable of playing today’s game titles without breaking a sweat. So without further delay lets see what is under the hood of this little machine.
