technology, which will allow cheating for gamers. But what about the

Yes, you heard me right! You should be seeing Pentium 4 Notebooks next
year (Q1 & Q2). Speeds should be hitting at least 1.6GHz by
the end of Q2 2002.

A monitor that displays three-dimensional images? Posted

The company Deep Video in New Zealand is creating a monitor that will actually
have a depth effect in images. This would eliminate the need for 3D goggles to
get a depth perception for watching computer images. This could change the way
computers are used. The moniters will be "Actual-Depth" moniters.

Angeles, California, Microsoft is probably going to announce a launch date and
price for its upcoming XBox video gaming system. This may be serious
competition to Nintendo and Sony's video gaming systems.

Dell is going to move its storage operation to Texas, from California (Silicon
Valley). It is laying off 50 employees in California. It is going to
consolidate it to Round Rock, Texas. Might this have something to do with the
California Energy Crisis? Dell doesn't mention this, but this may be a reason
why they are shutting down that part of the business in California.

AnandTech has just posted a review of the Athlon 4 processor. It utilizes a
.18 micron core. It is supposedly called the Athlon 4 to let people know that
this is the processor that is competing with the Intel Pentium 4. It is also
called the Palomino.

2 months ago, but evidently there were problems with that launch date. It

in the U.S. A subscription service would allow users to pay monthly or yearly

in Europe. It will run on a GSM network, which is the standard for wireless
voice communications in Europe. This means that in Europe, users may be able

gone under and brought with it Daily Radar
and Maximum PC. It is still
unclear as to what is going to happen... Although word has said that
Maximum PC Mag. will still be alive, their online divisions are kaput.
But for all of Max PC's online affiliates, it could mean the end. The
internet world and market has been going in a downward spiral over the course of
the past few weeks and no one knows where everyone is going to end up.
